Our Post has a Membership meeting every 3rd Tuesday of the month, 6pm at 1176 Warfield Blvd. Clarksville Tn 37043.

Please stop by and check us out. We have the Full American Legion Family to choose from: 
  • The American Legion Post for All Veterans
  • The Sons of the American Legion for the men and boys whose Parent or Grandparent was/is a Veteran
  • The American Legion Auxiliary for the Spouse of Veterans and the Females whose parent or Grandparent was a veteran
  • The American Legion Riders, open to all Veterans, Son’s and Auxiliary members.

*Current members may also join our Color Guard and Honor Guard, for patriotic events , parades and of course veteran funerals. I encourage all Veterans and Veteran family members to Help us fight for the Best care and benefits for our Veterans and their families, and support the community in honoring our nations Armed forces, teaching Flag etiquette, citizenship, respect and integrity and support to our children and youth.

About Us
Post 289 received our Temporary Charter as American Legion Fort Campbell Post 289 in February 2016. Our meetings were held at the Smokehaus Restaurant on Fort Campbell.

In 2017, the Post was Permanently Chartered and Renamed to memorialize CSM Gary W. Crisp.

American Legion 'CSM Gary W. Crisp' Post 289 strives to support area veterans and communities by supporting the Four Pillars:

  • Veterans Assistance and Rehabilitation
  • National Security
  • Children and Youth
  • Americanism
Our success depends entirely on active membership, participation and volunteerism. The organization belongs to the people it serves and the communities in which it thrives.
