Women Veterans
Hello, I am Beverly McLaughlin. I am the Women's Veteran Chairperson for Post 289.
I am from Indiana and served in the US Army from Jan 1982 to Jan 1985 as a 64c/88M. My 1st duty station was Yongsan South Korea then Fort Carson, Co . I was also in the Army Reserves for 3 years during which time I reclassified to a 91 L /68 L (Occupational l Therapy Assistant.)
I am very active with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (Fort Campbell/Clarksville Chapter), Women Veterans of America Chapter 47, and The Military Women's Memorial.
I enjoy traveling and spending time with my daughter and 3 grand daughters.
I want to highlight all the Women Veterans we have in Post 289 and assist them in any way I can.
We as Women Veterans are a minor slice of the Armed Services but we are valued as equals.
